Liz Boag scores 18 in losing cause at OUA all-star game

Posted: May 4th, 2014 @ 7:35pm

Liz Boag of the Queen's Golden Gaels scored 18 points Saturday night but it wasn't enough to prevent the East from being defeated 97-90 in the seventh annual Ontario University Athletics women's basketball all-star game in London.

The East led 27-25 after the first quarter but trailed 44-43 at halftime.

Boag, a graduate of La Salle Secondary School, was one of three Gaels on the East team, which was coached by Queen's coach Dave Wilson. Regiopolis Notre Dame product Jenny Wright and Andrea Priamo were the other Gaels who participated.
