Performances by quarterbacks since 1989 in their first start for the Queen’s Golden Gaels:

Tim Pendergast, Sept. 9, 1989—6-for-17 (.353), 92 yards, 0 touchdowns, 2 interceptions; Queen’s defeated Ottawa 13-9.

Steve Othen, Sept. 11, 1993—7-for-14 (.500), 142 yards, 2 touchdowns, 1 interception; Queen’s won 17-11 at Ottawa.

Rob Weir, Sept. 10, 1994—3-for-12 (.250), 38 yards, 0 touchdowns, 2 interceptions; Queen’s lost 33-16 at McGill.

Dustin Fallscheer, Sept. 9, 1995—4-for-8 (.500), 39 yards, 1 touchdown, 0 interceptions; Queen’s won 17-16 (but later lost the game to forfeit).

Beau Howes, Oct. 7, 1995—9-for-25 (.360), 105 yards, 0 touchdowns, 0 interceptions; Queen’s lost 29-7 at Ottawa.

Craig Spear, Sept. 23, 2000—17-for-34 (.500), 219 yards, 0 touchdowns, 1 interception; Queen’s lost 32-9 at Bishop’s.

Tom Denison, Sept. 29, 2001—15-for-26 (.577), 284 yards, 2 touchdowns, 2 interceptions; Queen’s won 38-23 at Toronto.

Ryan Sheahan, Sept. 6, 2004—8-for-20 (.400), 165 yards, 1 touchdown, 3 interceptions; Queen’s lost 30-28 at Windsor.

Ali Clarkson, Oct. 9, 2004—3-for-7 (.429), 37 yards, 0 touchdowns, 0 interceptions; Queen’s won 70-0 at Toronto.

Danny Brannagan, Sept. 10, 2005—21-for-31 (.677), 341 yards, 2 touchdowns, 1 interception; Queen’s beat York 40-7.

Billy McPhee, Aug. 31, 2010—12-for-25 (.480), 125 yards, 0 touchdowns, 2 interceptions; Queen’s lost 23-18 at McMaster.

Nate Hobbs, Aug. 30, 2015—24-for-36 (.667), 338 yards, 2 touchdowns, 0 interceptions; Queen’s beat Carleton 34-24.
