A four-over-par round of 74 Sunday left Kingston golfer Brad Boyle in 50th place at the end of the $150,000 Times Colonist-Island Savings Open, the first event of the Canadian PGA tour of the season.

Boyle, who began the tournament with a four-under-par round of 66 on Thursday, finished the 72-hole event at 285, five over par. American Stephen Gangluff won the tournament, closing with back-to-back weekend rounds of 66 to finish at 11-under 269.

The next stop on the tour will be the ATB Financial Classic, June 17-23 in Calgary.
