Regiopolis Notre Dame Panthers will play for the provincial AAA/AAAA high school rugby championship Friday, after they defeated Medway of Arva 13-5 Thursday afternoon in Ottawa.

The Panthers will face the tournament's No. 1 seed, Brantford Collegiate, in the final. Both teams are 3-0. Brantford has won the OFSAA title twice in the last 12 years, most recently in 2008.

Brantford gained its championship-game berth with a 17-0 win over fifth-seeded Bill Crothers of Toronto.

Regi, which entered the 16-team event as the sixth-seeded team, defeated No. 3 Saltfleet of Stoney Creek 12-0 earlier Thursdsay.

Friday's championship match will be played at 1 p.m. at Twin Elm Rugby Park in Nepean.
